Marine Surveyors

Medasia Marine provides comprehensive and detailed reports on all surveys carried out and delivers these in as shorter time frame as possible, depending on the size of the task and level of survey required.

The costs of surveys vary depending on the type, the vessel and the location, for example a pre-purchase survey on a 30m yacht would take 2 days with 1 day out of the water the 2nd on sea trials, as a guide for this type of survey would be circa 5,000 Euro + expenses. Maritime Consultants

Expert Knowledge and Experience

Maritime consultants possess deep expertise in various aspects of the industry, from shipbuilding and maintenance to navigation and logistics. Their extensive experience allows them to provide valuable insights and solutions that might not be readily apparent to those without specialized training. This expertise ensures that decisions are well-informed, reducing the risk of costly mistakes.

“The key to success in consulting is always going above and beyond what is expected.” — James O. McKinsey

Regulatory Compliance

The maritime industry is heavily regulated, with numerous international, national, and local laws governing everything from ship safety standards to environmental protection. Maritime consultants stay up-to-date with these regulations and can help businesses navigate the complex legal landscape. This ensures compliance, avoids legal penalties, and promotes safe, environmentally responsible operations.

P & I – Warranty Surveys

This survey inspection is performed so that the insurance company can determine whether or not the yacht is an acceptable risk. They are interested in structural integrity and safety for its intended use. Most insurance companies require a survey, especially on older yachts/boats. They also want to know the yacht’s fair market value and replacement value.
